The abstract states the result this library quotes: Feynman's 1982 conjecture, that quantum computers can be programmed to simulate any local quantum system, is shown to be correct. Cited from Hamiltonian simulation. Childs, Su, Tran, Wiebe, and Zhu describe the algorithm as the Lie–Trotter product formula for a k-local Hamiltonian. The sharp step count is theirs, not a formula number printed in this record.
