Cited from Hamiltonian simulation. The Hamiltonian is a linear combination of unitaries. Each short segment is a truncated Taylor series, implemented by a select oracle and a prepare oracle, then corrected by robust oblivious amplitude amplification. The paper states that the simulation complexity is T, the sum of the absolute coefficients times the evolution time, multiplied by a factor logarithmic in one over the error.
